1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup chopped raisins
3 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
Cream butter and sugar well; add raisins and eggs, beating well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to the mixture. Roll thin; cut into bars, and bake on greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes.
