3/4 cup whipping cream
4 tablespoons sweet butter, chopped
1/3 cup brown sugar
Heat cream and butter in a heavy-based saucepan over low heat until the butter has melted, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar and continue stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture comes to the a boil. Boil for 2 minutes until thick and glossy.
Serves 4 to 6.
