1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
1 pinch cream of tartar
Juice and grated rind of 1 orange
2 cups pecans
Mix all ingredients, except pecans, and cook to soft ball stage. Beat, then add pecans. Stir until pecans are well coated. Spread out on wax paper and separate.
