1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups bran cereal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients. Beat remaining ingredients together. Pour over the dry ingredients; stir to moisten. Put into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes.

Cool for 10 minutes. Cut into thin slices.
