1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Mix sugar, water and salt in a small saucepan. Heat to boil, then boil gently for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Use one shot per can of coke over ice for vanilla coke.
