24 oz extra lean ground beef
1 cup dried polenta
Puree:
14 oz onion
1/4 cup beef broth
4 oz mushroom
6 oz tomatoe paste
13.5 oz chopped spinach
2 leaves of sage
:Sauce
3 cups beef broth
1 cup cold water
4 T corn starch
Cook ground beef. In food proccessor or mixer puree ingredients listed under
puree, then add to ground beef. Add polenta and continue to cook for about 15
minutes on medium heat to allow polenta to absorb moisture... Constantly stir.
Place in baking pan and pour to a thickness of 1 inch. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
remove and let rest at least 10 minutes. Meanwhile take the 3 cups of beef
broth and simmer untill you are ready to serve then add the corn starch and
water to thicken sauce. Serve over patties.
