1 lb. baby turnips, 1-1/2 to 2-in. in diameter

1 oz. butter

1 oz. vinegar

1 oz. honey

1 oz. apple juice

salt and pepper, to taste

chervil, chopped, to taste

Cut turnips into quarters; blanch in simmering water. Drain well; reserve. Melt butter in saucepan; add vinegar, honey and apple juice. Heat to simmering. Add turnips. Reduce heat; cook, stirring, until turnips are coated. Season; garnish with chervil.
