1 c Flour

1/2 ts Sugar

1 ea Egg

1 c Ice water

2 tb Oil

1 ts Garlic powder

2 lb Fish, chicken, or shrimp

Combine first six ingredients and beat well. Dry meat well. Dip into batter and deep fry.

Note: be sure water is ice cold or the batter won\'t stick to meat.
