2 oz. sugar

4 oz. water

4 oz. lemon juice

Place sugar and water in saucepan. Heat, stirring, to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat; let cool. Stir in lemon juice; strain through cheesecloth. Place in ice-cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer\'s instructions.
