This points calculator is for anyone who is on the Weight Watchers diet. The Weight Watchers diet is essentially a low fat, low calories diet. The lower an item of food is in fat and calories the more of it you are allowed to eat per day. When you start the Weight Watchers diet you get a points allowance per day depending on your current weight, age, height and daily exercise.
This tool is to calculate the points for food that do not display the Weight Watchers points.
Simply type in the amount of Calories, Fat and Fibre that is in the food and click calc to get the points. This information is found on the back of food packets and jars in the Nutrition Information box. Note that Calories is displayed as kcal and is found in the Energy section.
To find out your points allowance get a Weight Watchers book or go to Weight Watchers. For example someone of my age and height its 26 points. My total points for food I consume each day must not exceed that number.
